Mayor Tishaura O. Jones

A former state representative for District 63, Treasurer of the City of St. Louis, and current Mayor of the City of St. Louis, Tishaura O. Jones embodies many of MO Political’s strongest values — equity and inclusion, sustainable development, racial justice, and transparent, accessible government. 

MO Political first worked alongside Tishaura O. Jones in her 2016 campaign for re-election as Treasurer of the City of St. Louis, which she won with 76% of the vote. Following her landslide victory, we provided Tishaura with comprehensive campaign services in her 2017 campaign for Mayor of St. Louis City. In 2020, MO Political worked with Tishaura again for her re-election campaign for Treasurer of the City of St. Louis, where she again earned a resounding win.

This spring, MO Political was proud to say YES to Tishaura Jones for Mayor of the City of St. Louis, as our team stood with Tishaura every step of the way during her campaign — fighting for racial equity, a strong COVID-19 recovery, and re-imagining public safety in our city. Hundreds of thousands of dollars and contact attempts later, we’re proud to have helped Tishaura across the finish line this April 6th, and for our part in electing St. Louis’ first Black woman mayor.
