Deputy Campaign Manager

MO Political is seeking Deputy Campaign Managers to assist with races in Saint Louis City during the 2023 election cycle. This role will be responsible for managing top-level campaign elements for the race or races to which they are assigned, with responsibilities including (but not limited to):
Managing clients’ calendars of events and finding opportunities for them to engage with the broader political community
Acting as a surrogate for clients at volunteer and speaking engagements
Engaging in the development of field strategy and launching voter contact events
Partnering with finance fellows and associates to staff call time and develop fundraising lists
Working with clients to develop their communications platform, refine their message, and translate their brand into digital and print media.
Qualifications:
Two cycles of campaign experience required, with at least one in a campaign leadership role
Strong familiarity with Google Drive suite, NGP-VAN/Votebuilder, and their associated app-level integrations
An understanding of MEC compliance regulations, and in building/filing finance reports
A strong sense of organization and the capability to develop systems and processes to track goals
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate clearly and effectively with organizers and campaign manager
High performer under pressure
Capable of presenting ideas to the rest of senior staff and strong inter-staff communication skills
A history of effective leadership and staff management skills
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
A great attitude and work ethic
Compensation and Work Days:
This role will be on a salary basis, starting at $3,600 a month, with a flexible ceiling of $4,250, pending performance and qualifications.
All full-time staff will work 6 days/week except during Get Out the Vote weeks before the primary and general election
