Hazel Erby

A member of the st. louis county council from 2004 to 2019,

Hazel Erby was a graduate of Vashon High School, Lincoln University, and Harris-Stowe State University. She was the executive director for the Community Partnership for the Prevention of Drug and Substance Abuse, and was the President of the Parent Teacher Organization of multiple schools in University City. Hazel was a champion of civil rights and an ardent advocate for the people of St. Louis until she passed away last year of pancreatic cancer.
