Tara Murray for HD104

Tara Murray was born and raised in North County, and has lived in St. Peters for more than 15 years. She is a wife, mother, and as of recently a grandmother!

Tara is proud of the place she calls home, and wants nothing more than to help build a community where all of our kids (and grandkids) can thrive. She is a seasoned educator, a proud Democrat, a grassroots activist, and devoted community member. Tara has been a teacher for more than 30 years, and have worked tirelessly to support the right of every child to a quality education. As an MNEA representative and campaign volunteer veteran, she has advocated for educators, students, and community empowerment.

Tara is tired of politicians in Jefferson City letting dysfunction and the desire to score political points get in the way of delivering real results for everyday people. She’s running for State Representative in District 104 to make Jefferson City work for the people - not the other way around.

Why this campaign is #PoweredByMOPolitical: We know that Tara will represent District 104 with integrity and passion, and she has the fire and determination to win in November. We’re excited to support her 100% of the way, because we know she’ll never give less than 100% for the people of the 104th District!
